Johannes Becker is a professor of economics and director of the Institute of Public Economics at the University of Münster. He is a Research Professor at the ifo institute in Munich. His research is mainly on international taxation and government finance. Johannes graduated from the University of Cologne where he also earned his PhD. He spent his post-doctoral years at the Oxford University Centre for Business Taxation and the Max-Planck-Institute for Tax Law and Public Finance in Munich.
