Workshop on Tax Policy Responses to the Relocation of Individuals

The Tax Law Research Group and the Centre for Business Taxation are organising a closed group workshop on tax policy responses to the relocation of individuals. Individuals and capital are more mobile across borders than ever before. In this context, exit taxes are frequently relied upon to preserve the tax base. This workshop, scheduled for January 16, 2026, looks to examine exit taxes in further detail, from an interdisciplinary legal and economic perspective.
