The sixteenth annual symposium of the Oxford University Centre for Business Taxation (CBT) is a 3-day event bringing together leading academics in business taxation from around the globe to discuss the most recent academic research in business taxation. This year we are aiming for the symposium to take place in person, at Saïd Business School in Oxford, from 09:00 on Monday 27 to 15:00 on Wednesday 29 June, 2022 (UK time).
The call for papers is now closed. As ever, we welcomed research on any topics related to business taxation in its broadest sense, including papers from economics, law and other disciplines, as well as interdisciplinary contributions.
Papers will be selected, and invitations extended, by Monday 11 April 2022.
The programme will follow the format of previous years: in addition to presentations and discussions of papers, there will be time for informal interaction and private work, together with social events each evening.
The symposium convenor is John Vella. If you have any questions about the academic content of the symposium, please contact John Vella. For questions regarding the logistics, please contact the events team.
