Saïd Business School wishes to appoint an internationally leading academic with a research specialization in business taxation, and with an academic discipline within economics, finance or accounting. The post holder will be expected to direct the Oxford University Centre for Business Taxation, replacing Professor Michael Devereux, who is stepping down as Director.
This is a permanent position tenable from 1 September 2023, or otherwise by negotiation.
The Director of the Centre for Business Taxation has responsibility for directing the Centre and will be expected to contribute to the long-term development of research in business taxation and other related fields of research relevant to business. Applicants are expected to have an excellent research and publication record and a proven ability to teach effectively at all levels. The salary will be competitive relative to senior-level appointments in economics, finance and accounting.
